Throughout the past two weeks, I’ve always had some schoolwork that needed to be done. So, anytime I wasn’t doing that work, I felt stressed. My free-time experience was diminished by the looming weight of the stuff to get done. Doing The Dancing Mind Challenge allowed me to get better at separating that stress. I did my work more efficiently, now that I was actually recharged. It does no good to have stress that results in less productivity. Going forward, I’m am going to continue trying to separate the unhelpful stress, in times of rest.
For why I choose A Game of Thrones; as a hobby I write a fantasy series, and I enjoy seeing how authors create compelling characters and plots. During this reading, I paid very close attention to how George RR Martin wrote. Also, I’ve been meaning to read this a while, since it is basically a classic in the fantasy genre now.
